I think I would be a good team Captain because I'm a team player and I try my best to make everyone feel welcome and loved on the Nighthawks. This will be my 4th season as a Nighthawk and I wouldn't trade it for the world. I've worked hard inside and outside of the softball field to become a better player and a better person. I hope to keep bringing a positive environment for the girls on this team. I miss you all!

Growing up under the shadow of someone leads you to a new perspective of life. You take for granted sometimes what it takes to be the best you. I want to be Captain so I can share what it takes to be a leader. To inspire others to grow and prosper, as well as show how to be compassionate and fun. To lead them on and off the field, exhibiting the skills it takes to be a team and not an individual. That's truly what I want, to do what's best for the team. And if I have to sacrifice time, sanity, love... I would do it all for this team, as they mean the world to me. That's why I would be a good team Captain.

I think I should be Captain because I am willing to listen to your opinions and take them to Coach. I will stand up for you in and out of softball. I will listen to you guys whether it is about softball or something else. I will train like I'm in second so we can play like we are in first. I will help make it so we start unknown, but finish unforgettable. I will be at all practices I can and put softball and my team above everything including myself. I will do my best to help our team be as welcoming as the graduated 2019 players. I will help to encourage you and get you to where you want to be. This team isn't just a group, we are family and I will keep it that way. I will fight for the things you need and want. I will support you in the decisions you make and cheer you on, both on and off the field. I am willing to wake up at Coach Todd's crazy hours to support you and help us to become the best we can. I will put all my energy into this team. Every drop of sweat that will and and has been shed is all worth it.
I want this team to be an escape for those who need it and a safe place for anyone. I want everyone to feel welcome and like they have a place on the team. I want the memories to be unforgettable and some of the best. This team means everything to me and it has helped me create a lifetime of memories and forever friends. The relationships I have with former and current players are some of the best. Not only the relationships with players, but also the coaches.
I want every single player to feel like they have people cheering them on both in and out of softball. I will keep the cheers going in the dugout on the freezing cold days and the sweaty days and everything in between. I will do my best to make you laugh no matter how hard of a game we had. I will put you before myself and I will always do my best to make you happy.
To the 12U who can't vote for me I still will cheer you on even on the early mornings and I will treat you the same as everyone else and help you to become the next best 14U. I will build relationships with you just like the graduates did with me. I will help you all I can with softball. I want to thrive to make our team more than a team but also a family. I can't wait to stay up for hours on end, enjoy more sunrises on the bus, and make the memories that will last a lifetime. I will communicate with you respectfully, and will compliment you on your strengths.
I am willing to play any role needed to create a healthy and happy team. Whatever you lack I will help balance you out. If we have a minor setback, we will be the team to have a major comeback. If you have a bad day, I will give you a better night. If you need support, I will be your backbone. There are going to be obstacles, there are going to be doubts. There are going to be mistakes, but with hard work there are no limits and we will make it.
